We are committed to implementing digital tools that bring agility and functionality to our processes

Digitalization as an added value to our main asset: people. With three decades in the industry, Sincrofarm is taking decisive steps towards digitalization, which provides functionality in our processes and enables us to streamline operations for the benefit of our customers. To achieve this, we have a team of experts in Information Technologies (IT), led by Laura Villegas, the head of Applications & CSV, and Toni Lasierra, the Systems Administrator, along with a group of partners who, working closely with our experts, implement digital tools tailored to our needs.

Technology partners are essential for staying up to date with new developments and implementing the right tools that align with user requirements, meet our architecture, and are cross-functional, facilitating integration between different areas of the company. Ensuring that Sincrofarm staff feel comfortable using new technological applications is crucial to their performance. This is why we seek partners who can understand our work philosophy and business needs. In this way, and thanks to the involvement of the entire organization, the implementations we are carrying out produce visible results in daily work.

Among our main IT partners, we have:

  • Informática Feu: Responsible for computing infrastructure, user support helpdesk, and cybersecurity.
  • Sarenet: Manages our network infrastructure, outsourced firewall, and will develop the IP telephony network.
  • Accelera: In charge of maintaining the SAP Business One Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
  • Oytec: We are working with them on the implementation of a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and the EBR software (which complies with the ISA 95 standard) as a Manufacturing Execution System (MES).

No-Code Platform for Document Management

Recently, we presented the custom solution for processes and document management that we are implementing with Gladtolink at the Digital Enterprise Show (DES 2023) held in Málaga. Just as we participate in industry fairs for pharmaceuticals and nutraceuticals, we also attend technology events, such as DES or Advanced Factories, through our partners, who keep us updated on new solutions applicable to our specific needs.

An example is the Gladtolink tool, which, with a clear GMP-friendly focus, provides functionality in specific processes such as:

  • Maintenance requests: From anywhere in the factory or facilities, a request can be opened, which the maintenance department evaluates and manages.
  • Out of specification (OOS) results: OOS can be created, investigated from level 1 to level 3, and routed through the deviation circuit.
  • Quality deviations: Control, follow-up, and monitoring of incidents detected in manufacturing processes or resulting from an OOS.
  • Artworks: Repository of current packaging design materials.
  • CAPAs: Management of corrective and preventive action processes until closure. These originate from deviations detected in audits or self-inspections.
  • Reports repository: Storage of reports and documentation for equipment used in manufacturing and/or product analysis.
  • Sample library: Record of samples and locations used in laboratory tests and manufactured products.
  • Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): The procedure follows the signature circuit for document approval.
  • Records repository: Repository for record-keeping.
  • External visitor log: Registration of visits by external individuals to the company.
