Achieving greater operational efficiency, providing better customer service, and ensuring regulatory compliance are the goals we have set in the digital transformation process we are implementing at Sincrofarm. The steps we are taking in this journey are based on four main pillars:
- Tools: Under the premise “the core of the business at the center,” we are consolidating the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), which we implemented during the fourth quarter of 2023. We are about to launch the Electronic Batch Record (EBR), a MES system that enables us to digitize manufacturing guides and obtain overall equipment efficiency (OEE) to measure factory productivity. Additionally, we are digitalizing administrative and documentation processes through BPM (Business Process Management).
- Data: We aim to be a Data-Driven company, which is why we are designing a Data Lake / Data Warehouse architecture to store our data and information sources, with the goal of structuring them according to the purposes defined by the company.
- Infrastructure: We are driven by constant renewal, so we are enhancing our infrastructure with a particular focus on security, cyber-resilience, and business continuity. Who said that the IT/OT (Information Technology / Operational Technology) dichotomy is incompatible?
- Organizational: A transformation of this scale can only be successfully completed if “we all move together.” That’s why we are launching training and awareness programs for users, staying attentive to market trends and improvements by attending industry fairs, and building the digitalization roadmap for the coming years, where the ISO 27001 standard on information security will play an important role.
Of course, none of this would be possible without the involvement and enthusiasm of the users across different areas of the company and the partners who accompany us on this journey.
